Explore center of Georgia- Kartli province. The region is famous for its roch history shown in many monuments and archaeological sights. We will spend the day travelling across the lands of the region and visit the most interesting hisoric sights of the area.

Meet the guide and driver in the hotel lobby. Start driving towards town Gori. the town has been settled from the 1st millenium BC, though in present times it is most well known as the birthplace of J.Stalin. Up to present there is the museum dedicated to him. The museum consists of three parts: The main exhibition; house and private train carriage. The main exhibitions consists of rich photoarchives depicting different phases of Stalin’s life and political career. The visitors are shown some of his personal items. During the visit guests will see the house in which stalin lived and personal carriage stalin travelled during WWII. 

After  the museum visit drive towards Uplistsikhe ancinet cave town- dating from the first half of the 1st millennium BC. The famous “Fortress of God” is first mentioned in the chronicles of the 1st century A.D. Carved into the rocky plateau you find huge echoing halls, long meandering corridor-streets, chambers for pagan worship, water supply system, secret tunnel, market and the remains of Georgia’s oldest theatre, complete with auditorium, stage and orchestra pit. Explore the area. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant with traditional Georgian cuisine. Arrive back to Tbilisi.
