Day 1
Explore Tbilisi
Explore Tbilisi- a charming and colorful capital of Georgia. Walk in the narrow streets of the town to soak up in the spirit of the city; its architecture and people. The city counts over 1500 years and served as the main political and economic center of the country. Throughout its existence the city has suffered many invasions and foreign influences which have left the traces on appearance of the city. During the day we will explore Bath area; Narikala castle ; Synagogue; Sioni Cathedral.

Day 2
Half day tour to Mtsketa
In the morning meet the guide at the hotel lobby. Drive towards Mtskheta, ancinet capital of eastern Georgian Kingdom – Kartli. Followed by short drive we will arrive to Jvari monastery. Founded in early 7th c. The monastery sits on the top of the mountain overlooking beautiful views of the town Mtskheta. Next drive to Svetitskhoveli cathedral- visit the 11th c masterpiece of Georgian religious architecture. The Cathedral is surrounded by the defensive walls. Once we get inside the temple we will see beautiful interior decorated with frescoes from the 17th c. Visit the monument. Enjoy the walk in the area old town.
Day 3
Day trip to Central Georgia/Gori & Uplistikhe
Explore center of Georgia- Kartli province. The region is famous for its roch history shown in many monuments and archaeological sights. We will spend the day travelling across the lands of the region and visit the most interesting hisoric sights of the area.
Meet the guide and driver in the hotel lobby. Start driving towards town Gori. the town has been settled from the 1st millenium BC, though in present times it is most well known as the birthplace of J.Stalin. Up to present there is the museum dedicated to him. The museum consists of three parts: The main exhibition; house and private train carriage. The main exhibitions consists of rich photoarchives depicting different phases of Stalin’s life and political career. The visitors are shown some of his personal items. During the visit guests will see the house in which stalin lived and personal carriage stalin travelled during WWII. After the museum visit drive towards Uplistsikhe ancinet cave town- dating from the first half of the 1st millennium BC. The famous “Fortress of God” is first mentioned in the chronicles of the 1st century A.D. Carved into the rocky plateau you find huge echoing halls, long meandering corridor-streets, chambers for pagan worship, water supply system, secret tunnel, market and the remains of Georgia’s oldest theatre, complete with auditorium, stage and orchestra pit. Explore the area. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant with traditional Georgian cuisine. Arrive back to Tbilisi.
Day 4
Explore the wine root of east Georgia.

Meet guide early in the morning at the hotel lobby. Drive towards of Kakheti region -Napareuli to visit The Twins Wine Celler;
Kakheti is recognized to be the country’s centre of winemaking accounting for some 70% of Georgia’s wine production. Certain wines from the Tsinandali and Kakheti region enjoy the status of Protected Designations of Origin.
The Twins Wine Cellar is located in Kakheti, Georgia – an area gaining increasing recognition for its growing wine industry and the production of excellent Georgian wines. The region in which the winery is located is called the Napareuli region which is known worldwide as a distinguished wine microzone.
This unique Georgian winery was established by twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvilis after they renovated their family’s ancient wine cellar

Day 5
Visit local area & Prince Aleksander Chavchavadze’s Estete & Museum
The Chavchavadze Palace was built in Tsinandali in 1886. Initially, it belonged to Garsevan Chavchavadze, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Russia during the reign of King Erekle II. Later, his palace was passed on to his only son, Alexander Chavchavadze. Alexander then transformed the inherited palace into a center of cultural events. It soon became a favorite gathering place of numerous famous public figures, writers and poets of the 19th century, among them Alexander Dumas, Marie-Felicity Brose, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Grigol Orbeliani, Vakhtang Orbeliani, Giorgi Eristavi, Alexander Griboyedov, and Nikoloz Baratashvili. Guests named the Tsinandali Estate “the Literary Heart of Poets and Writers”. The idea of founding the Georgian Theater appeared during one such meeting of cultural greats here.
